London... Day One (?!?!)

Its the end of the day on Sunday and after a VERY long travel day(s) the kids are exhausted (as am I) so I am doing tonight's blog post.  Starting tomorrow, the kids will be making the entries.  We started our journey at 4:00pm EST (9:00pm London time), flew to Paris, had a fairly long layover, then flew to London.  Once in London we met up with our tour guide, Alex Garcia, and then we proceeded to see what felt like the entire city of London!  Covent Gardens, Piccadilly Circus, Westminster, the London Eye, Big Ben - we saw it all on a gorgeous afternoon and evening in London.  The kids got a little bit of free time in Covent Gardens (very similar to Quincy Market) and got to take some UNBELIEVABLY good pics throughout the night.  We finally got to our first hotel at 10:30pm!!!  After a looooooong day and night like today, they are ALL seasoned travelers.  We were so proud of them - a great group!
